CPLP experts address energy transition in Luanda

Energy experts with the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP) will discuss on June 27- 28, the role of energy transition and its contribution to the development of member states in the region.

The participants will also discuss the more sophisticated technical solutions to promote sustainable energy transition that can solve national and world energy problems, states a press note jointly issued by the Ministries of Energy and Water and Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas.

The source mentions the presentation and debate on the latest technical and financial developments of the energy transition.

The two-day meeting will also promote collaboration among the countries and their companies linked to the energy sector.

The community intends to share the information, projects and best practices so that each can move forward with its energy matrix, with the support and example of the Portuguese speaking countries network.

Renewable energy and oil and gas will also come under analysis.

The 3rd Meeting of Energy Ministers of the CPLP will be preceded by a meeting of the experts of Energy from the community on 27.

In addition to Angola, which chairs the organisation since July 2022, CPLP groups Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe and East Timor
