CPC’s New Guidelines for Xinjiang Governance Unveiled

Beijing: A white paper released by the State Council Information Office on Friday has detailed the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s comprehensive guidelines for governing the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the new era. The document highlights a strategic framework aimed at ensuring stability and development in the region.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the white paper, entitled "CPC Guidelines for Governing Xinjiang in the New Era: Practice and Achievements," outlines a coherent system of theories that are central to the CPC's approach to Xinjiang. The guidelines reflect the insights of the CPC Central Committee, led by Xi Jinping, into the unique circumstances of Xinjiang and the broader objectives for its governance.

The guidelines emphasize several key principles. These include viewing and planning Xinjiang's governance with a strategic outlook, prioritizing social stability and lasting peace, and fostering unity among the people as a fundamental goal. They also stress the importance of nurturing a stronger sense of the Chinese nation as a cohesive community, ensuring religious practices align with China's realities, and promoting core socialist values.

Additionally, the guidelines advocate for high-quality development that prioritizes the wellbeing of the people and reinforce the Party's leadership in all matters related to Xinjiang. These principles form the bedrock of the CPC's efforts to govern Xinjiang effectively in the new era.
