Coup d’état in Gabon: “What does warlord Emmanuel Macron say? “, asks the Burkinabè Prime Minister

Burkina Faso Prime Minister Apollinaire Kyelem de Tambèla, noted on Monday the double standards of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, following the coups d’état in Niger and Gabon, in the space of a month.

“After the coup in Niger, we wanted to form an international army to restore Bazoum. There was a coup d’état in Gabon, we didn’t see this guy. Where is French President Emmanuel Macron who set himself up as a warlord to fight and restore the overthrown president of Niger? What does he say and what does he do about what is happening in Gabon? So there would be democratic coups and non-democratic coups?” asked Prime Minister Apollinaire of Kyelem.

The head of the Burkinabe executive spoke Monday morning, during the monthly raising of colors within his department.

“I think that the latest international events enlighten us and show us to what extent we are being abused,” he added.
