The County government of Bomet has embarked on an exercise of deploying administrators from the Sub-county to the ward level to enhance service delivery in the County.
Speaking during a three-day induction workshop for sub-ward administrators at the Willis Hotel, Governor Prof. Hillary Barchok noted that his administration is keen on delivering services to the people.
‘County administrators are the fulcrum of service delivery to our residents. They are the link between the county administration and residents and the interlink between various county departments,’ explained Barchok.
The county boss further noted that his administration has on board members of the village council within the county whom they are working closely with for the realization of his manifesto and boosting service delivery.
‘We have invested a lot to ensure effective service delivery, Last year my government absorbed members of the village councils. We are among the few counties in the country with administrators up to the village level,’ noted the governor.
Elsewhere, the Bomet county government has been urged to intervene in challenges facing Korara Special School for the visually impaired.
