Ouagadougou: The first Council of Ministers meeting of 2026 is scheduled for this Thursday, January 8, under the leadership of His Excellency Captain Ibrahim Traore, President of Faso and Chairman in office of the Confederation of Sahel States (AES) since December 23. The session will focus on addressing key issues affecting the nation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this ordinary session of the Burkinabe executive will explore several significant matters and make important decisions to meet the legitimate aspirations of the Burkinabe people. The discussions and resolutions will align with the ideals of the popular progressive revolution.
