Luanda: The Council of Christian Churches in Angola (CICA) on Wednesday, in Luanda, highlighted the importance of Christmas as a time of faith, hope, and renewal. In a message on the occasion of Christmas Day, which is celebrated today Thursday, December 25th, CICA underlines that despite the challenges Angola faces, Christ continues to be the greatest source of joy and hope for the Angolan people.

According to Angola Press News Agency, CICA appeals for the message of love, forgiveness, and reconciliation to touch the heart of every citizen, inspiring families, churches, and communities to live the moral values and teachings of religious leaders. The note also refers to the biblical story of the Wise Men, inviting Christians to follow their good examples as signs of commitment and dedication.

It reinforces that Christmas should be lived as a time of sharing, welcoming, and strengthening faith, promoting unity and solidarity among Angolans.
