Cooperation: the Russian and Burkinabe military are strengthening their partnership.

A Russian delegation led by two Deputy Ministers of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Younous-Bek EVKOUROV and Mr. Timur Vadimovich Ivanov, stayed on October 5 in the Burkinabe capital.

These involved meetings working and sharing of experiences between ministers on the one hand and between specific managers of the General Staffs of the Armies of the two countries on the other hand with the objective of strengthening the skills and capacities of the National Armed Forces.

Colonel-Major Kassoum COULIBALY Minister of State, Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs, discussed with his hosts of the day, the strategic questions of cooperation and the different possibilities offered by relations between the two countries in the logic mutually beneficial cooperation. These include possibilities in the operational, economic, logistical, technological, training, etc. areas.

Earlier in the morning, the Russian delegation was received in audience by the President of the Transition, Captain Ibrahim
TRAORE. During the discussions, both parties reaffirmed the strength of relations between our country and Russia.
