Consultative Council Discusses Social Security Budget

Luanda: The activity plan and the budget of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) for the year 2025 are being discussed by the ordinary consultative council of the institution since Monday in Luanda. The two-day meeting will address the new coverage of social security, rules and procedures of public administration, as well as issues pertaining to public procurement and management of public assets.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the Council was inaugurated by the Minister of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security, Teresa Rodrigues Dias. She urged attendees to reflect on defining strategies that will guide the functioning and progress of the institution. Teresa Dias emphasized the government's commitment to revising the Basic Law of Social Protection, aiming to align with significant advances in the economic and social sectors.
