Paktika: Authorities have completed the construction of the buildings of 15 schools in eastern Afghanistan’s Paktika province, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported on Monday.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the projects cost 192 million afghani, equivalent to around 2.8 million U.S. dollars, and were spread across 14 districts. The completion of these school buildings marks a significant development in the region, where numerous schools previously lacked proper infrastructure, forcing students to learn in the open air.
The Afghan interim government has expressed its commitment to building school facilities across the country, addressing the urgent need for educational infrastructure. The completion of these buildings in Paktika is part of a broader initiative to improve educational conditions throughout Afghanistan.
