Consortium of Associations Cleans Boulsa Medical Center to Improve Sanitation

BOULSA — A consortium of associations, led by the Wendkouni association, organized a cleanup of the Medical Center with surgical antenna (CMA) in Boulsa on September 15, 2024, aiming to improve the health center’s environment by removing weeds and waste.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Chief Medical Officer (MCD) of the Boulsa CMA, nearly fifteen associations, all part of the "Zero Plastic Bags" network, collaborated with CMA staff to clear the health center’s courtyard of overgrown shrubs and accumulated rubbish. Compaoré highlighted the significance of this initiative in preventing potential dangers, such as snake and mosquito bites, for both staff and patients. Wendkouni association president Dieudonné Nonaba praised the teamwork involved and encouraged continued promotion of the 'Zero Plastic Bags' initiative.
