Cascades: Le vent r©publicain organized a conference last Saturday to support the vision of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, in the rebuilding of Burkina Faso. The conference aimed to encourage synergy between the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the population to eliminate threats and ensure lasting peace in the country.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference was designed to engage young people with the critical issues related to the initiatives led by Captain Ibrahim Traor©. It sought to educate them on the fundamental ideals of the popular progressive revolution and to train them in supporting the FDS in the territorial reconquest. Oscar Seraphin Ki, National Coordinator of the Republican Wind, explained that the event included two sessions. The first session addressed the challenges of achieving full sovereignty in Burkina Faso and the Alliance of Sahel States (AES). The second session focused on the deceptive strategies of armed terrorist groups, emphasizing the importance of synergy between the FDS and the population in reclaiming national territory and ensuring sovereignty.
Mr. Ki elaborated that the Republican Wind was established following events on September 30, 2022, initially as the “I refuse” movement. This movement rejected any proposals other than those of Captain Ibrahim Traor©. Following his confirmation on the evening of September 30, 2022, the movement transitioned into a legal organization to support the President’s vision. Ki urged young people to remain united and mobilized behind Captain Ibrahim Traor©.
Technical Advisor Mahamadou Traor©, representing the Governor of the Cascades region, praised the initiative, stating that it aligns with recent days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation. He encouraged all stakeholders to support such activities that aim to rally Burkina Faso’s population, particularly the youth, around the President’s vision.
