Bamako: A mission led by the President of the National Commission of the Confederation of Sahel States (CN-AES) of Burkina Faso, Bassolma Bazie, was received by President of the Transition of Mali, General Assimi Goita, who is currently serving as President in office of the AES Confederation. The Burkinabe emissaries were carrying a message from President Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso, intended for his Malian counterpart.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Bazie conveyed that the message from President Traore strongly expressed the fraternity, solidarity, and commitment of Burkina Faso to enhance the influence of the Alliance of Sahel States. This diplomatic visit is strategically timed just days before the Summit of Heads of State of the Confederation. It is part of the ongoing efforts by the National Commission of the AES to bolster cooperation and unity throughout the Sahel region.
