Baz¨ga: The achievements of the Confederation of Sahel States were celebrated during a flag-raising ceremony attended by the civil society of Baz¨ga province and citizens of Kombissiri. This event marked the second anniversary of the Confederation's founding.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony took place at the Baz¨ga Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education and was presided over by the High Commissioner of the province, T©n© Justine Kientega/Ilboudo. The gathering included leading figures from Baz¨ga province, representatives from Civil Society Organizations, and public administration officials.
The event was an opportunity to echo the message of Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor©, President of Burkina Faso and President of the Confederation of Sahel States, who praised the tangible results achieved over the past two years. Comrade T©n© Justine Kientega/Ilboudo emphasized the strengthened political cooperation, improved diplomatic coordination, and increased effectiveness of combat forces against terrorism.
The High Commissioner also acknowledged the efforts of public officials and citizens, urging continued dedication to the Confederation's mission for peace, sovereignty, development, and shared prosperity across the Sahel region.
