Comoe Municipal High School Launches Cultural and Sporting Activities with Cross-Country Race

Comoe: The municipal high school in Niangoloko initiated its cultural and sporting activities with a cross-country race traversing various streets in the city.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event aimed to encourage sports practice in schools while fostering social cohesion among students, educational staff, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), and the local population. The cross-country race attracted over 1,500 participants, including students, school personnel, and administrative authorities. Notably, the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Niangoloko, Ousseni Ouedraogo, along with the school council, FDS, and numerous residents, took part in this significant activity.

Following the race, Mohamed Nabe, principal of the municipal high school, addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of discipline, civic responsibility, and respect for order. He encouraged students to strengthen ties of social cohesion, particularly with the security forces and the broader community.
