Community Mobilization Boosts Ouaga-Bobo Highway Project in Bale

Bale: RISA, in collaboration with the chief of Ouahabou, is mobilizing village communities for the highway signage work in the Bale province. At the initiative of the provincial coordination of the Gathering of Intelligences for the Sovereignty of Africa (RISA), Bale section, and in response to the call of the administrative authorities, members of the movement and village communities mobilized to participate in the marking work of the highway in the province of Bale.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the mobilization was placed under the blessing and support of the chief of the village of Ouahabou. The initiative brought together young people from several villages and members and supporters of RISA from the villages of Boromo, Sani, Ouahabou, Koho, and Nanou, all united in their commitment to serve the nation. The volunteers joined the efforts of the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), who have been engaged in the marking work for weeks. They followed the instructions of technicians, contributing to tasks such as digging holes, mixing cement, installing boxes, and setting up markers.

The collective efforts led to a significant acceleration of the work, driven by the determination of the young volunteers who provided essential workforce on the ground. This mobilization initiative, credited to the provincial coordination of RISA/Bale and led by Cisse Abdoul Hafiz, was made possible through the support of the canton chief of Ouahabou, El Hadj Karantao. His involvement, due to his renown and moral authority, was crucial, as the volunteers sought his blessings before proceeding to the construction site.

Upon completion of the work, technicians from the Bale provincial infrastructure directorate visited the chief of Ouahabou to express gratitude for his commitment and support. The activities were conducted in a cooperative and friendly atmosphere. Coordinator Cisse Abdoul Aziz, on behalf of the RISA/Bale provincial coordination, extended sincere thanks to the chief of Ouahabou and all participants, acknowledging their patriotic commitment aligned with the Popular Progressive Revolution.

The success of this mobilization has inspired RISA members to pursue further patriotic initiatives in the near future.
