Communication Leaders in Burkina Faso Collaborate Amid Security Crisis

Ouagadougou: The President of the Higher Council for Communication (CSC), Wendingoudi Louis Modeste Ou©draogo, hosted the Minister of Communication, Pingdwend© Gilbert Ou©draogo, for a meeting aimed at enhancing cooperation between their respective bodies. The visit, which took place on Friday, March 28, 2025, was an opportunity for the minister to commend the CSC for its efforts. Given the ongoing security crisis, the minister emphasized the significance of communication, particularly in relation to war, and stressed the need for aligned objectives between the two institutions to better organize the media and communication sector.



According to Burkina Information Agency, CSC President Wendingoudi Louis Modeste Ou©draogo expressed appreciation for the minister’s initiative. He highlighted the importance of communication during the security crisis as a critical element of government policy. As a regulatory authority, he reiterated the necessity for coordinated actions to address challenges in the communication sector effectively.



The meeting concluded with an agreement between the two leaders to maintain their collaborative efforts, ensuring a unified approach to the country’s communication challenges.
