PARIS: French shipping giant CMA CGM has announced its plans to resume shipping services to and from Niger, a move that marks a return to operations in the country. The company had previously halted its bookings to and from Niger in October of the previous year.
According to Africa News Agency, The resumption of shipments will be facilitated through the West African port of Cotonou in Benin. This decision by CMA CGM is set to reestablish critical trade links for Niger and contribute to the region’s economic activities.
