Kombissiri: Des citoyens de la commune offre 11 motos, de l'huile de vidange et une somme de 1 355 000 F FCA pour les VDP : The President of the Special Delegation of the Kombissiri commune, Boukary Porgo, conducted a symbolic handover of 11 motorbikes, engine oil, and a sum of 1,355,000 F CFA to benefit the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) on Monday, August 3, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this donation, initiated by the citizens of Kombissiri, is part of the initiative "one village, at least one motorbike for the VDP." The event took place in the courtyard of the Kombissiri town hall, where the atmosphere was marked by the community's generosity. The contributions included 11 motorbikes valued at 8,250,000 F CFA, 120 one-liter containers of engine oil valued at 300,000 F CFA, and a monetary sum of 1,355,000 F CFA.

The donation aims to support the operational efforts of the VDP in the commune. Boukary Porgo, who received these donations, made a symbolic handover to the VDP. The event was presided over by the High Commissioner of Baz¨ga, T©n© Justine Kientega/Ilboudo, and was attended by community members and local authorities.

Idrissa Rouamba, representing the donors, stated that the donation is a message of support for the fighters and a concrete contribution to the protection and security of the communal territory. The High Commissioner expressed gratitude for the patriotic act and applauded the donors' generosity, urging other citizens to follow this example to ensure the success of the initiative.

The communal coordinator of the VDP, who received the donations on behalf of the volunteers, assured that they would be used effectively to enhance the operational capabilities of the VDP in Kombissiri.
