Ouagadougou: The provincial authorities of Ioba and those of the commune of Dano recently celebrated the handover of a rehabilitated building at the central police station, made possible by the financial support of Winbèzagr Narcisse Somé under the presidential initiative Faso Mbo. According to Burkina Information Agency, the reception ceremony took place under the patronage of the High Commissioner of Ioba province, Innocents Ouattara, and was presided over by Denis Zanré, the Prefect and President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Dano, in the presence of the donor's representative, Joël Dabiré. The building, previously abandoned due to its dilapidated state, now houses the urban police department with four offices, significantly improving working conditions for national police officers in Dano. The project, costing 2,750,000 CFA francs, was completed by Winbèzagr Narcisse Somé, a consultant in financial management of projects and programs. Joël Dabiré, representing Somé, stated that this contribution i s part of civic actions supporting Faso Mbo, aimed at enhancing the police officers' ability to perform their duties effectively. The community is encouraged to maintain the facilities well. In addition to Somé's contribution, another donor, Gnimlé Ayoro, known as "Papa," a shop employee, funded the renovation of the police station's administrative offices and the legalization office. These renovations have provided a better working environment for staff and improved public reception conditions. Chief Commissioner Souleymane Zouri, the provincial director of the national police (DPPN) for Ioba, expressed gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries, acknowledging the significant improvement in working conditions for police officers. Denis Zanré, the PDS of Dano, praised the gesture for providing a dignified and secure working environment for the defense and security forces (FDS), emphasizing the contribution to renewing state authority for the people's well-being. Zanré highlighted the patriotic spirit of Winb èzagr Narcisse Somé, stating that his actions demonstrate the shared responsibility for the nation's development and security. He also acknowledged Gnimlé Ayoro's support and urged national police personnel to maintain the facilities for the benefit of the population. Innocents Ouattara, the High Commissioner of Ioba province, commended the quality of the work and expressed gratitude to the PDS of Dano for the initiative, appreciating the improved working conditions for the police. He called it a patriotic act aligned with the ideals of the People's Progressive Revolution (PPR), which emphasizes building the homeland collectively. Ouattara also praised the Ioba National Police for their dedication to public safety and urged community support for the police to ensure continued safety of people and property. He acknowledged Somé's previous contributions, including safety shoes, fuel, and raincoats for the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). At the ceremony's conclusion, certificates of recognit ion were awarded to both Winbèzagr Narcisse Somé and Gnimlé Ayoro, as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the police station's rehabilitation in Dano.
