Chinese Vice President to Attend UN Ocean Conference in France and Visit Spain


Nice: Chinese Vice President Han Zheng will attend the UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France, and visit Spain upon invitation from June 7 to 13, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Thursday.



According to Namibia Press Agency, the visit is part of a diplomatic effort to engage with international communities on ocean sustainability and bilateral relations. The conference in Nice will serve as a platform for Vice President Han Zheng to discuss and promote initiatives related to oceanic preservation and cooperation among nations.



The itinerary also includes a visit to Spain, where Vice President Han Zheng is expected to hold talks with Spanish officials to further strengthen Sino-Spanish relations. This visit underscores China’s commitment to engaging with European nations on issues of mutual interest and fostering stronger international partnerships.
