Dr. Cendrine Héma/Soudré, the head of the Hepato-Gastroenterology Unit at CHU-T and a lecturer at the University of Ouagadougou, acknowledged the critical support provided by the Chinese Red Cross. The consumables included in the donation are expected to alleviate some of the challenges faced by the unit, particularly in treating patients with hepatitis.
