Chinese Opera Enchants Audience in Hue

Hue: A troupe from China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region staged a traditional Chinese opera performance in the central Vietnamese city of Hue on Sunday. Held at the Royal Theater inside the Imperial City of Hue, the event showcased a variety of Chinese opera styles and attracted an audience including Chinese and Vietnamese officials as well as local residents.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the performance included live music, traditional costumes, and scenes from various forms of Chinese opera. The cultural display was a testament to the rich heritage of Chinese opera and its intricate art forms, captivating the audience with its vibrant presentation and historical significance.

The tour will continue in Ho Chi Minh City as part of efforts to strengthen cultural ties between China and Vietnam. This initiative aims to promote mutual understanding and appreciation of cultural traditions, fostering a closer relationship between the two nations.
