BEIJING—In a push for increased defense collaboration and regional stability, Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun emphasized the need for continuous efforts in enhancing security cooperation.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Minister Dong’s remarks came during separate meetings with Fijian Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration Pio Tikoduadua and Stergomena Lawrence Tax, Tanzania’s Minister of Defense and National Service. Both ministers are in Beijing for the 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, which commenced on Friday.

The forum serves as a platform for discussing security issues in the region, with Minister Dong advocating for collaborative measures to foster a more stable and peaceful regional environment.
