Chinese Ambassador Bids Farewell, Pledges Continued Support for Burkina Faso

Ouagadougou: At the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Burkina Faso, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, HE Lu SHAN, expressed his unwavering support for the nation, stating, "I will always be a lawyer for Burkina Faso." The ambassador made his farewell visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad, marking the end of his three-year tenure.

According to Burkina Information Agency, HE Lu SHAN met with the head of Burkinabe diplomacy and colleagues who supported him during his time in the country. HE Lu SHAN reflected on his mission, describing it as a significant phase in his diplomatic career. He expressed satisfaction with his contributions towards enhancing the cooperation between China and Burkina Faso and conveyed optimism for the country's future under the leadership of His Excellency Captain Ibrahim TRAORE.

The ambassador assured that his successor will continue to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations. The head of Burkinabe diplomacy acknowledged the ambassador's dedication to fortifying the Ouagadougou-Beijing relationship.

HE Mr. Karamoko Jean Marie TRAORE, along with Minister Delegate for Regional Cooperation Stella Eldine KABRE/KABORE, praised the ambassador for his accomplishments in elevating bilateral relations to a strategic level. They highlighted the successful completion of various projects and wished him health and success in his future endeavors.
