Beijing: The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences unveiled two key laboratories on Friday, with one focused on archaeological sciences and cultural heritage protection and the other on linguistics. These new facilities aim to advance research and provide innovative solutions in their respective fields, enhancing China’s capabilities in preserving cultural heritage and understanding linguistic evolution.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the laboratories are expected to conduct interdisciplinary research using the latest scientific advancements and technologies. This approach will enable researchers to explore new methodologies and techniques in archaeology and linguistics, contributing to the global body of knowledge in these areas.

In addition to the laboratories, an institute for collaborative innovation in rare and endangered studies was inaugurated under the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. This institute aims to cultivate professionals in disciplines such as Manchu studies, Turkic studi
es, and classics, ensuring the continuation and development of expertise in these critical areas of study.
