China’s Top Diplomat to Visit Russia for Strategic Security Consultation

Beijing: China's top diplomat, Wang Yi, is set to travel to Russia for the 20th round of China-Russia strategic security consultation from December 1 to 2. Wang Yi serves as a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and is the director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Wang Yi's visit comes at the invitation of Sergei Shoigu, the secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council. This consultation is a part of ongoing efforts between China and Russia to engage in strategic discussions on security matters.
