China’s Political Advisors Discuss Economic Reforms and Modernization

Beijing: The 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top political advisory body, convened a standing committee meeting to deliberate on economic system reforms and the advancement of Chinese modernization.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the meeting was attended by Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee. The gathering saw active participation from 14 members of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee who shared their insights on the subjects at hand.

Yi Gang proposed initiatives focused on the deepened reform of the financial system. He emphasized the importance of strengthening financial support for the private economy and sci-tech innovation, along with ensuring a high-quality financial supply for green and low-carbon development.

Li Yao discussed the necessity of bolstering investment and financing support. He advocated for the expansion of new forms of trade in services and emphasized promoting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road cooperation.

Hong Huimin underscored the need for proactive measures and the significance of taking the initiative to promote the steady improvement of foreign investment and trade.
