China’s Employment Shows Positive Outlook for 2023: Official

Beijing: China's employment scene has started the year on a positive note, as evidenced by developments in the first two months, an official announced on Sunday. During January and February, enterprises across the country accelerated their production resumption following the Spring Festival holiday, stated Minister of Human Resources and Social Security Wang Xiaoping at a press conference held alongside the annual session of the national legislature.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the government's supportive policies have played a critical role, and Wang expressed confidence that the employment situation will maintain overall stability with improvements throughout the year. The country is committed to implementing more proactive and impactful macroeconomic policies, which are expected to bolster both economic growth and employment.

Wang also highlighted plans for introducing a new wave of policies to support the employment of young people, including college graduates. Additionally, efforts will be made to assist labor-intensive industries in boosting employment as they undergo industrial transformation and upgrading.
