Beijing: China will continue to promote the development of foreign-invested enterprises operating in the country, Ren Hongbin, the chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), said at a meeting with Apple CEO Tim Cook. The meeting took place in Beijing on March 23.
According to Namibia Press Agency, Ren stated that the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade would continue to promote the development of numerous foreign-invested enterprises in China, including Apple, through various forms and channels. This declaration was made public via the official CCPIT account on the social network WeChat.
The discussions between Ren and Cook also focused on strengthening cooperation between the trade and industrial circles of China and the United States. They explored providing assistance to enterprises with foreign investment in their development within China and enhancing cooperation in production and logistics chains.
