China Ready to Work for Steady, Sound Ties with Canada: FM

Beijing: China is willing to strengthen communication, enhance trust, eliminate interference, and deepen cooperation with Canada, to bring bilateral relations forward on a steady and sound track in solid strides under the new circumstances, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said here on Thursday. Wang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks when meeting with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand in Beijing.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the meeting between the two foreign ministers marks an important step in the ongoing efforts to improve diplomatic relations between China and Canada. During their discussions, both parties emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and collaboration in various fields, aiming to foster a more positive and constructive bilateral relationship moving forward.
