Windhoek: China firmly supports the establishment of a Southeast Asia nuclear weapon-free zone, a Chinese defense spokesperson said on Monday, adding that it is significant for promoting regional peace and stability.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the Chinese defense ministry emphasized the importance of this initiative in ensuring long-term peace and stability in the Southeast Asian region.
