China Advocates for Stable Multipolarity and Inclusive Globalization: FM

Munich: China will collaborate with like-minded nations to foster a stable and orderly multipolar world alongside inclusive and tolerant economic globalization, as stated by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during a meeting with Graham Allison, a professor at Harvard University, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Wang, who also serves as a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized the importance of China maintaining its strategic resolve amidst rapid global changes and a complex international landscape. He stressed the need for China to focus on its own modernization efforts while contributing to global peace and stability.

Wang outlined China’s commitment to upholding international norms based on the UN Charter and advancing the democratization of international relations. He reiterated China’s consistent and stable policy towards the United States, guided by principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexiste
nce, and win-win cooperation, as proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In response, Graham Allison acknowledged the coherence of China’s foreign policy, noting the significance of Xi’s concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind, which he described as a reflection of Eastern philosophical wisdom. Allison expressed optimism for effective cooperation between the United States and China in addressing international and regional issues, including the Ukraine crisis.
