Ass©tou Ouattara, president of the FDS women’s mutual society in Nahouri province and director of the P´ remand and correction center, emphasized the event’s significance in strengthening bonds between the children of the FDS and VDP. She expressed a deep commitment to the families of those deployed, stating, “Dear children, this celebration is yours, enjoy every moment, have fun and know that your smiles are our greatest reward.”
Nouriata Tapsoba, representing the children, expressed gratitude for the initiative, acknowledging the absence of their parents due to military duties. She affirmed, “We are proud to be the children of the FDS and VDP and even in difficult times we must have fun.” Tapsoba also pledged that they would strive to be exemplary students to support their parents.
Governor Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou commended the organizers for their efforts in promoting solidarity among those defending Burkina Faso’s security. She encouraged prayers and blessings for the forces deployed in various operations. The event also marked the beginning of activities for the FDS women’s mutual fund in the province.
