Bobo-dioulasso: His Majesty, the Chief of the Canton of Bobo-Dioulasso and Supreme Chief of the B´b´-Mandarª, delivered a call for solidarity, peace, and national unity for the year 2026, while extending his salute to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), and the families of those who have gone missing in the line of duty.

According to Burkina Information Agency, His Majesty emphasized the importance of civic engagement and expressed his gratitude towards the FDS and VDP who tirelessly work under challenging conditions to ensure the safety of the nation. He acknowledged the efforts of all state collaborators, including central and decentralized directors, ministers, and others who support the central government in Ouagadougou, aiding the mission of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, for the welfare of the Burkinab¨ people and beyond.

His Majesty expressed hope for a fruitful harvest that would adequately feed families this year. He paid homage to the sacrifices made by the FDS who have fallen in battle, urging support for their orphans to assure them they are not alone.

The supreme chief highlighted the dedication of President Traor© and his team, who perform their duties selflessly. In his message to the youth, he underscored the importance of returning to traditional values, living harmoniously, and preserving ancestral customs. He mentioned the historical role of griots and blacksmiths in resolving crises and enhancing social cohesion.

The canton chief also stressed the significance of joking relationships, such as those between the Bobo and the Fulani, as vital tools for dialogue and understanding among communities and ethnic groups, advocating for these practices to prevent and resolve conflicts.

Her Majesty urged the youth to resist negative financial influences and actively support social movements and security forces. He called for resilience and sacrifices to achieve victory against the country's threats.

The leader concluded with a message of unity, courage, and patriotism, wishing health, prosperity, and success to all people of Burkina Faso. He reaffirmed his support for the security forces, the youth, and all those working for a united, peaceful, and prosperous Burkina Faso.
