Kaya: The General Confederation of Enterprises of Faso (CGEF), Koulse regional branch, presented a check for 10 million CFA francs and a cement mixer worth 4.7 million CFA francs to the Faso Mebo Agency this Thursday in Kaya, following the raising of the national flag at the Koulse Governorate. This contribution aims to support the success of the presidential initiative in the region. The donation was received by the coordinator of the Faso Mebo Agency of Koulse, Warrant Officer Soumaila Guiwa.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the CGEF regional section of Koulse, El Hadj Rasmane Ouedraogo, stated that this gesture reaffirms the support of economic operators for the general mobilization launched by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, for the construction of the homeland. To that end, he invited his peers to strengthen their commitment in order to achieve endogenous development goals.
The governor of the Koulse region, Colonel-Major Blaise Ouedraogo, welcomed this mobilization of the region's economic operators. He encouraged the continuation of this momentum and urged stakeholders to remember the supreme sacrifice of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), in order to continue working for the development of the country.
In the same spirit of patriotism, following the donation from the CGEF, four Franco-Arab schools in the city of Kaya also made a financial contribution of 61,500 FCFA to Faso Mebo, from individual contributions from students. The latter, accompanied by their teachers, participated in the work on the Faso Mebo site, in particular in the demolding and collection of the paving stones.
This mobilization of economic operators and students is reassuring, according to the regional coordinator of Faso Mebo, regarding the strong return of the different socio-professional strata of the region around the initiative to beautify the cities.
