Certified Seeds and Agricultural Equipment Boost Sanaba’s Winter Season

Ouagadougou: Comrade President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Sanaba Moussa Traor© proceeded, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, to the official handover of certified seeds and agricultural equipment to the agricultural Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) of the commune, within the framework of the presidential initiative.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation consists of certified seeds of maize, cowpea, peanuts and okra, as well as agricultural equipment including seeders, electric and manual sprayers, and tarpaulins. This initiative is aimed at bolstering agricultural productivity and enhancing food security in the region.

In his speech, Comrade President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Sanaba Moussa Traor© praised the patriotic commitment of the agricultural Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), while encouraging them to make good use of these inputs and equipment in order to increase agricultural production in the commune of Sanaba. He emphasized the importance of this initiative in contributing to strengthening food security.

The comrade president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Sanaba, also reaffirmed the support of the highest authorities for producers engaged in the national development effort. He expressed wishes of success to all beneficiaries for the 2026-2027 agricultural campaign, highlighting the significance of their efforts in the broader context of national development.
