Tenkodogo: The Governor of the Center-East region, Colonel Aboudou Karim Lamizana, initiated the written tests for the First Cycle Studies Certificate (BEPC), the Professional Aptitude Certificate (CAP), the Primary School Certificate (CEP), and the 6th grade entrance exam for the 2025 session across various centers in Tenkodogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, a total of 24,227 students, comprising 11,253 boys and 12,974 girls, are set to take the CEP exams. These students are organized into 46 juries to facilitate the examination process. Additionally, 12,449 students are registered for the BEPC and CAP exams, with 7,652 girls and 4,797 boys participating, spread across 48 juries.
Before commencing the exams, Governor Lamizana provided guidance and encouragement to the candidates. He also acknowledged the contributions of all individuals whose efforts were pivotal in organizing the exams in the region.
Regional director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Bourbila, Pierre Silga, extended his congratulations to the teachers who managed to organize the exams amidst various challenges. He emphasized that the successful organization of these exams highlights the resilience of everyone involved and wished all candidates good luck.
