Central Bank and UNDP Formalize Agreement to Boost Financial Inclusion in Angola

Luanda: The Angola Central Bank (BNA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance financial inclusion and education efforts in Angola.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the agreement aims to strengthen institutional cooperation by developing financial education content and training financial education agents in financial literacy. It also focuses on sharing experiences and international best practices to improve financial inclusion in the country.

The Memorandum outlines strategies for resource mobilization to support joint initiatives and emphasizes the importance of digital financial education and inclusion programs. The agreement was signed by BNA Governor Manuel Tiago Dias and UNDP Resident Representative in Angola, Denise Ant³nio, in the presence of representatives from both organizations.
