Central Africa: $290 million from the World Bank to improve and harmonize statistical capacities

The World Bank will provide $290 million in financing in the form of credits and grants from the International Development Association (IDA) to improve and harmonize data systems in Central Africa. This funding will strengthen evidence-based decision-making systems, resource allocation, accountability and transparency in a region that is home to more than 120 million people living in extreme poverty.
