Nayala: The High Commissioner of the province of Nayala, Honor© Fr©d©ric Par©, called, during the Ramadan prayer, the populations to piety, solidarity and unity within the Muslim community.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of Nayala Province, Mr. Honor© Fr©d©ric Par©, extended his wishes for prosperity, health, and happiness to all the faithful. He also asked Muslims to pray for the defense and security forces engaged in the fight against terrorism.
“I invite you to think of our internally displaced brothers and sisters who are suffering because of the security crisis,” he said, calling for acts of solidarity and sharing.
Mr. Par© encouraged worshippers to share their meals and clothing with those in need, emphasizing that solidarity is an essential value during this period of Ramadan. “May this blessed month be a time of sharing and compassion for the most vulnerable,” he added.
Moalim Assami Par© took advantage of the High Commissioner’s speech to remind Muslims of the importance of listening to the Word of God after prayer. “How can we spend 30 days of fasting and not take an hour to listen to the teachings of our Creator?” he asked, calling for greater diligence and a sincere commitment to Islamic values.
The Ramadan prayer in Toma was a powerful moment of contemplation and reflection. It strengthened bonds between members of the community and highlighted the importance of the values of piety, solidarity, and mutual respect.
Moalim Assami Par© also urged the faithful to be pious and fear God and encouraged them to act in accordance with the precepts of the Quran, affirming that the fear of God is essential to benefit from his blessings. ‘We are passengers on this earth, and it is crucial to live with respect and harmony with one another,’ he added, before inviting the faithful to give thanks for life and remain united in prayer.
Moalim Par© also emphasized the obligation to pay zakat, a fundamental practice in Islam. According to him, every Muslim must give a portion of what they consume to support those in need. “Zakat must be given before prayer, so that the beneficiaries can benefit from it quickly,” he said.
