Three Charged Afresh in Mlolongo Hairdresser Murder Case

Machakos: In a recent development at the Machakos High Court, three suspects in the murder case of Jennifer Mwende, a hairdresser from Mlolongo, entered fresh pleas on Wednesday. Faith Nthemba, Phyllis Nzula, and Evelyn Wanza faced renewed charges after their cases were consolidated.

According to Kenya News Agency, the three denied involvement in the killing that occurred on August 25. They were remanded at the Machakos GK Prisons and are scheduled to reappear in court on November 28, when the case will proceed to hearing. The trio is jointly accused of strangling Mwende and disposing of her body in a pit latrine in Mlolongo town.
