Cascades: The Governor of the Cascades region, Florent Badbou¨ Bazi©, called on the population on June 2, 2025, to exercise caution during the rainy season and to continue the fight against malaria.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the Cascades Regional Health Directorate hosted the rotating ceremony for the raising of the national colors on Monday, June 2, 2025, chaired by the Governor of the Cascades region, Florent Badbou¨ Bazi©. During the event, Governor Bazi© acknowledged the strong mobilization, reflecting a collective commitment to building Burkina Faso. He expressed gratitude for the continued dedication of the population and urged them to maintain their patriotic spirit.



As the rainy season begins, Governor Bazi© emphasized the importance of caution and adherence to safety measures during adverse weather conditions. He also extended his best wishes to rural stakeholders who received equipment and inputs from Captain Ibrahim Traor©, President of Faso, hoping for favorable rainfall and a successful agricultural season.



He further urged the region’s key players to continue combating malaria by following preventive measures from health authorities. Health workers were encouraged to intensify their support for the population during this critical period.



The Regional Health Director of the Cascades expressed gratitude for the strong mobilization and thanked administrative authorities for their support and for choosing his structure to host the national flag-raising ceremony. He emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to promote a resilient regional health system.
