Captain Ibrahim Traoré Meets with Regional Forces in Banfora Amid National Cultural Week

BANFORA – Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the Head of State of Burkina Faso, engaged in discussions with the active forces and community representatives of the Cascades Region in Banfora this Tuesday.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the conversations addressed critical national issues and the socio-economic development of the Cascades Region.

The meetings in Banfora, which are part of his activities during the National Culture Week in Bobo 2024, included sessions with various social layers and an audience with local sons and daughters. Additionally, Captain Traoré visited the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) to provide encouragement and discuss ground realities.

This visit precedes his attendance at the upcoming 21st edition of the Bobo 2024 National Culture Week (SNB), where he is scheduled to officially commence the biennial event on April 27, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Burkina Faso.
