Captain Ibrahim Traoré Inaugurates Culture Week and Development Projects in Bobo-Dioulasso


Bobo-Dioulasso – Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of the Transition and Head of State, arrived in Bobo-Dioulasso this Monday to preside over several key events, including the opening ceremony of the 21st National Culture Week (NCW). His visit also marks the commencement of significant infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing the urban landscape and boosting economic development in the region.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Captain Traoré will oversee the initiation of road development and asphalting projects within the city and the surrounding areas, including National Road No. 08 leading to the Mali border. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for the Textile Industrial Complex of the Forces of Burkina Faso (TEXFORCES-BF) and open a new agro-food unit dedicated to edible oil production. The local populace showed strong support for the President, coming out in large numbers to welcome him and express their approval of the transitional government’s initiatives.
