Captain Ibrahim Traore Engages with Diébougou Community During State Visit

Ouagadougou, The President of the Transition and Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, recently visited Diébougou in the province of Bougouriba. This visit followed his attendance at the official ceremony for the first stone laying of the Regional University Hospital Center in Gaoua. In Diébougou, Captain Traore engaged with the local communities who had gathered in large numbers along the track to welcome him.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the spontaneous mobilization of the young, old, women, and children of Diébougou was a clear demonstration of their support for the Head of State. They expressed their gratitude and appreciation not only to Captain Traore but also to all Defense and Security Forces as well as the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland. This show of support comes in light of the daily successes recorded in the ongoing efforts for the reconquest of territory in the region.
