Camp Vacances Faso Mªbo Expands to Guiriko Region with Over 500 Children Participating

Guiriko: Ten days of training for more than 500 children are underway at GIFA. The Chief of Staff of the Presidency of Faso, Colonel Isma«l Kiswensida DIAOUARI, presided this Friday morning over the start of the new school year of Camp vacances Faso Mªbo in the Guiriko region, within the Armed Forces Training Group (GIFA).

According to Burkina Information Agency, following the success of the Ouagadougou edition, Camp Vacances Faso Mªbo is expanding to the Guiriko region for over 500 children. All dressed in army colors, these participants in Camp Vacances Faso Mªbo, Guiriko edition, will have ten days of training around several modules.

"As Comrade Ibrahim TRAORE, President of Faso, said, Camp vacances Faso Mªbo is part of a larger program that aims to instill a number of values in all the children of Burkina Faso. You must succeed in the mission that the President of Faso has entrusted to all the children of Burkina Faso, that of being at the rendezvous of history in a few years and of being future builders," the sponsor told the campers.

According to the national coordinator of the Faso Mªbo Presidential Initiative, Commander Ahmed Zoodnoma SAKANDE, the campers will have modules such as military training, civic and moral education, living arts, performing arts, and introduction to manual work.
