Calm prevailed today in Maralal town Samburu county even after a clarion call by the Azimio leadership for countrywide demonstrations. A spot check in Maralal town by KNA revealed business as usual despite the call for demonstrations. At the Maralal livestock market, traders were busy selling goats, sheep and cows to local butchery owners as well as buyers from other counties. Calm also prevailed in the streets of Maralal town and KNA spotted women hawking porridge to residents seated under trees. At the matatu terminus, passengers boarded Public Service Vehicles (PSV) headed to Nyahururu, Nakuru, Nyeri and Nairobi City.
