Casablanca: Under the auspices of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the Moroccan Anti-Doping Agency provided anti-doping training for the Etalons cadets on Tuesday in Casablanca, in support of the U17 CAN, Morocco 2025, we learned from the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the training was announced by the Burkinabe Football Federation, which highlighted that the initiative is part of CAF's efforts to ensure fair play among the teams participating in the tournament. The training session emphasized the importance of maintaining a doping-free environment in sports, particularly focusing on educating young athletes about the risks and repercussions of doping.
Burkina Faso is set to face Zambia in the quarter-finals of the U17 AFCON on Thursday, April 10, with the match scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. local time and 4 p.m. GMT. A press conference regarding this match will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Laarbi Zaouli stadium in Casablanca.
The U17 AFCON Morocco 2025 is being held from March 30 to April 19, featuring young talents from across the continent competing for the prestigious title.
