Bush Bucks and Shooting Stars Collect Maximum Points in Namport Zambezi Regional League

Katima mulilo: Bush Bucks and Shooting Stars managed to collect a maximum of six points each over the weekend as the Namport Zambezi Regional Second Division league officially kicked off here on Saturday. According to Namibia Press Agency, Bush Bucks currently lead the 12 clubs on the log on goal difference. The team demonstrated their prowess by thrashing Real Cheetahs 6-0 on Sunday at the University of Namibia (UNAM) Sports Field. On Saturday, they secured a 2-1 victory against Zambezi Sporting Academy, standing eight goals clear against Shooting Stars, which also has six points and six goals. Shooting Stars have only utilized the UNAM Sports Field so far, managing to beat Blue Chiefs by 1-0 on Sunday. They had previously defeated Black Buffaloes 5-0 on Saturday afternoon. Space Age and Real Cheetahs are at the bottom of the league with zero points each. Clubs that won their first matches on Saturday lost their games on Sunday. On Saturday, Blue Chiefs achieved a 5-1 victory over Space Age but were defea ted 0-1 by Shooting Stars on Sunday afternoon. Oryza Sativa, who won 3-0 against Real Cheetahs at the UNAM Sports Field on Saturday, were beaten 2-0 by Zambezi Sporting Academy at the Katima Mulilo Sports Complex. Green Eagles, victorious over Bright Stars with a 3-1 score on Saturday, lost 2-1 to Namib Chiefs on Sunday at the same venue. Roccano King Rangers, who defeated Namib Chiefs 2-0, succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against Bright Stars on Sunday at the Katima Mulilo Sports Complex.
