Ouagadougou: The Minister in charge of Construction, Mikailou Sidibé, has initiated the construction of the ‘Burkindi Business Center’, a transformative real estate project in the Burkinabe capital. This ambitious development, valued at over 320 billion FCFA, will feature the Burkindi Tower, a 35-story skyscraper, alongside 14 additional 15-level buildings and a 3-level shopping center.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the project will be situated on 4.6 hectares in the Ouaga 2000 district. The Burkindi Business Center is set to be an ultra-modern complex, unprecedented in the region. This development is a result of a public-private partnership between the Burkinabe State and the Kastor Africa group, with support from the National Office of Major Projects and the National Urban Land Development Company (SONATUR).
Joseph Zagré, the general administrator of Kastor Africa group, stated that the project aligns with the broader vision of Burkina Faso’s authorities. It is expected to be completed in four
years, excluding the rainy season, while smaller structures within the project will be ready in 24 months.
Minister Mikaïlou Sidibé emphasized that the project reflects the government’s dedication to enhancing living conditions in Burkina Faso and positioning Ouagadougou as a competitive business hub. He noted that the complex would modernize the city, provide numerous individual offices to reduce state rental expenses, and expand the housing market with a significant number of new apartments.
